Il regolamento REACh

Regulation 1906/2007 (REACh -Registration, Evaluation and Authorization of Chemicals) was introduced by the European Community to ensure the correct and safe use of chemicals through strict registration, evaluation, authorization and restriction procedures.

Annex XVII
Annex XVII of the REACh Regulation contains the list of restrictions of certain substances, mixtures and articles dangerous for their marketing and use on the European market.
A restriction may apply to any individual substance, in a mixture or in an article, including those that do not require registration.

Annex XVII of REACh includes all restrictions adopted under REACh and previous legislation, Directive 76/769/EEC.
Each entry shows the substance or group of substances or mixture and the resulting restriction conditions.

SVHC list (screening test)
The candidate list is a list of substances which may have serious effects on human health or the environment. The substances on the list are also known as “substances of very high concern”.
The aim of publishing this list is to inform industry and the general public that these substances are candidates for inclusion in the list of authorisations. Inclusion in the list also creates additional information requirements for the industry and gives consumers the possibility to request information on these substances in articles.
ECHA regulates as a matter of priority the substances on the candidate list and recommends to the Commission to be included in the list of authorisations. Once they are on the authorisation list, industry will need authorisation to continue using the substance after the expiry date. Centrocot provides a full product screening service to determine the substances on the candidate list.
