The pandemic has markedly accelerated the process of change in the working world. A fundamental change that enabled amongst other things the implementation of digital solutions overnight. At the same time, sustainability is more than ever the focus of society and industry. This opens up new areas of activity and raises new questions for the entire industry. How do we want to shape tomorrows’ world, how do we want to live, work and operate in this world while treating our fellow human beings and the available resources ecologically and responsibly? Comprehensive insights as well as solutions and products for the future of work come care of this year’s A+A. Registering more than 1,000 exhibitors (in Halls 1 to 10 approximately 50,000m²) the leading international trade fair for safety, security and health at work will open its doors at the Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre from 26 to 29 October.

Trending themes at A+A 2021

Next to the exhibitors’ products and solutions, this year’s Trend Forum in Hall 4 will map all facets of trending themes with its practice-driven talks. The themed sessions:

Digitalisation + Safety: Lectures on the themes of digital documentation of PPE use, such as purchase, maintenance, care and cleaning as well as the recording of near accidents.

Digitalisation + Health: Presentation of health Apps, teleworking and new working worlds as well as mental stress and workload reduction through exoskeletons.

Sustainability: Introduction to the Due Diligence Act on the German and European level. (The limits to) circular economy.

Protection and Hygiene: Best practice, experiences and learnings for the selection of PPE (masks, hand protection, disinfection, etc. incl. combinability), CE conformity and quality awareness.

Handling of Hazardous Substances: Talks on handling, evaluation and the risk assessment of hazardous substances. Latest insights associated with REACh as well as experimental lectures on hazardous materials storage.

Centrocot with its Team of experts will also be present at this edition of A+A and will be waiting for you to illustrate its activities, in particular the new “Leather and Footwear” laboratory that offers the possibility, with cutting-edge instrumentation, to provide important information on the materials used and the consequent suitability that starts from the design to the formation of the prototype of the footwear up to the placing on the market in compliance with the quality standards and performance requirements according to the specific destination of use to guarantee the safety of the finished product.

This is yet another demonstration that Centrocot has always been close to the textile and clothing industry, and today it is also a valid support for the world of footwear.

Digitalizzazione + Salute: Presentazione di App per la salute, telelavoro e nuovi mondi di lavoro, così come lo stress mentale e la riduzione del carico di lavoro attraverso gli esoscheletri.

Sostenibilità: Introduzione al Due Diligence Act a livello tedesco ed europeo.

Protezione e igiene: Migliori pratiche, esperienze e apprendimenti per la scelta dei DPI (maschere, protezione delle mani, disinfezione, ecc. incl. combinabilità), conformità CE e consapevolezza della qualità.

Manipolazione di sostanze pericolose: Colloqui sulla manipolazione e la valutazione dei rischi delle sostanze pericolose. Gli ultimi approfondimenti associati al REACH e le conferenze sperimentali sullo stoccaggio delle sostanze pericolose.

Centrocot con il suo Team di esperti sarà presente anche a questa edizione di A+A e vi aspetta per illustrarvi le sue prove di laboratorio e certificazioni, il nuovo laboratorio “Cuoio e Calzature” che offre la possibilità, con strumentazione all’avanguardia, di fornire informazioni importanti sui materiali utilizzati e la misurazione delle prestazioni in conformità agli standard qualitativi ed ai requisiti prestazionali in funzione della specifica destinazione d’uso a garanzia della sicurezza del prodotto finito.
